MINI GYMNINJA

MiniGymNinja classes pack two of the hottest sporting activities for kids... Gymnastics and Parkour into one 30 minute session! Kids will participate in Ninja styled obstacle courses, rope climbs, trampolines and use other gymnastics equipment. Strength, flexibility, coordination and agility will be emphasized. Kids enrolling in to the MiniGymNinja program will receive their "MiniGymNinja uniform" after completing 3 sessions.

GymNinja sessions are co-ed designed and aimed at those 5 years and under. Kids are expected to be able to watch, follow instructions and listen to their MiniGymNinja Master.

BEGINNER PARKOUR

Parkour classes at Gymsports have never been so hot!

Beginners will learn how to move freely over and through any terrain using only the abilities of the body, principally through running, jumping, climbing and quadrupedal movement. In practice it focuses on developing the fundamental attributes required for such movement, which include functional strength and fitness, balance, spatial awareness, agility, coordination, precision, control and creative vision.

All sessions are co-ed designed and aimed at those 5 years and over. Participants are expected to watch, follow instructions and listen to their Coaches at all times.

INTERMEDIATE PARKOUR

This class requires that the participant has previously attended Parkour - Beginners and their coach has recommended a jump.

Intermediates will expand on their previous learnings on how to move freely over and through any terrain using only the abilities of the body, principally through running, jumping, climbing and quadrupedal movement. In practice it focuses on developing the fundamental attributes required for such movement, which include functional strength and fitness, balance, spatial awareness, agility, coordination, precision, control and creative vision.

Intermediates may also be invited to attend "Jams" which are outside Parkour activities normally in various locations around Ballarat.

All sessions are co-ed designed and aimed at those 8 years and over. Participants are expected to watch, follow instructions and listen to their Coaches at all times.

Enrolment Note:

  • Existing members can also enrol/re-enrol via their family portal site.

  • Where there is no ENROL link against a class, please contact Reception to organise an Assessment session.

  • Where there is a WAITING link against a class, this indicates a waiting list exists, by completing the information, reception can advise when an opening exists or a new class is created.

Fees Note:

  • Where a participant is enrolled in multiple days, your invoice will be adjusted to reflect the adjusted amount.

  • Registration and Insurance fees are also applicable and payable upon enrolment (these fees may not be initially reflected on your invoice, in these instances they will be added manually and a new invoice sent).
