OK… so as coaches we are expected to… and should understand what’s going on with our programs and competitions, etc. But for all of our wonderful parents and families, you can easily get left behind and unaware of many of the expectations and happenings, especially once your amazing child enters the world of Competition Gymnastics.

Here we hope to assist parents and families understand the INS and OUTS of what goes on in a gymnasts journey through their “Competition Life”.
Tips, Tricks, Pointers and Blogs can assist in you better preparing your gymnast prior to their big day.
To get us started, throughout July, we will be posting a series of short videos designed to assist you, the parent, as we head in to competition season 2024.
I hope you like them, each week we will add another video (or two).
Following the COVID lock down, I had the greatest of opportunities to attend a Coaching Conference where Nick Ruddock from the UK was presenting.
Nick is recognised as a world leading coach educator and consultant within the international gymnastics community, having provided services to 25 international federations such as the national teams of Brazil, Japan, Canada, Australia, Germany and Netherlands. Nick is also a technical expert for European Gymnastics. Nick’s exposure to a wide range of clubs, coaches and systems across many countries and continents offers him a unique perspective on the sport, allowing him to soften the learning curve for gymnastics coaches and change the way they coach forever. He also every so often produces great resources for parents of gymnasts, which we are going to provide for you below.
